USA defeats Tanzania by
10 wickets
USA winning the toss took the advantage of the
slightly wet astro turf wickets and put Tanzania to bat first. The
Tanzanian batting line up struggled and failed to adapt to the astro
turf wicket giving awaytheir first 7 wickets very cheaply to the USA
bowlers when the score was only 63/8 in 27overs. Aggressive batting by
diminutive number 8 batman Kassim Nassoro in partnership with Riziki
Kiseto number 9 batsman took the Tanzanian score to 128 when they were
finally all out in the 39th over with kassim Nassoro on 49
not out..
Chasing the Tanzania’s low score, the USA opening
batsmen Nadkarni 68 and Baker 63
were off to a flier from the first over on a well dried up wicket
to hammer the Tanzanian bowlers all over the park to win the
match in the 13th over with
the loss no wickets.
