Tanzania wins against a strong Club Cricket Conference XI

Tanzania won their second game of their UK tour against a strong and experienced C.C.C XI side that fielded players that are currently playing first class cricket. Tanzania won the toss of their third game and elected to bat first without their key players skipper Hamisi Abdallah and Khalil Rehemtulla who are nursing their minor injuries. A brilliant 130 run partnership from the opening pair of Enjo Seti and Seif Khalifa gave the Tanzanian’s a strong start with an additional partnership of 40 runs from Shaheed Dhanani and Riziki Kiseto taking their teams score to 220 for 9 in the 50 allotted overs.

In reply the much experienced C.C.C openers also gave a good start of 80 run partnership to their team only to be pinned down by off spinners Kassim Nassoro and Riziki Kiseto supported by tight fielding from the rest of the team to restrict the C.C.C to 210 for all in the 46^th over.

Playing against players who are playing first class cricket in the UK it was a great experience for the young Tanzanian side, forcing the Tanzanian Coach Zully Rehemtulla to give a smile of satisfaction at the end of the game.
