Uganda too strong for the Namibians

Namibia lost to Uganda in the Africa women’s cricket tournament, but with lot of improvement compared to their opening game against Kenya. Namibia won the toss and decided to field.

Uganda lost 2 quick wickets but Christine Aryemo and Rebecca Akwenyu controlled the situation and kept the Uganda’s side going. Uganda set a target of 202 runs for Namibia team to win. In reply, the Namibia’s innings just lasted till 20.4 overs.

The woman of the match was Rabecca Akwenyu from Uganda. She ended up scoring 42 NOT OUT and picked up three wickets.

This defeats shutters the hopes for the Namibia’s to qualify for the finals.
