Tanzania wins against Nepal

Nepal won the toss and put Tanzania to bat. Tanzania started cautiously after the USA defeat and once again were pinned down by the Nepalese spinners, who restricted them to a low score of 117 for all in the 48th over. The opening batsmen Seif Khalifa scored a brilliant knock of 46 runs which won him the man of the match award and his inning saved the day for Tanzania.

Defending the Tanzanian low score the two opening bowlers Khalil Rehemtulla and Benson Mwita spearheaded a continuous spell of 10 overs each to damage the top order batting line up of Nepal securing 5 wickets in the first 20 overs. Later on the spin duo of Kassim Nassoro and Riziki Kiseto took two wickets each which was equally supported by the agile Tanzanian fielders to restrict Nepal to a score of 108 in the 44th over.
