Tanzania loses against Kenya

Tanzania U19 team participating in the ICC Africa region qualifiers lost their third consecutive games in a row today on the 31st August 2010.

Kenya won the toss and elected to bat first. The Tanzanian bowlers bowled well on a fast outfield at Wanderers Club ground dismissing the whole Kenyan batting line up in the 47th over with 209 runs on the board.

In return the Tanzanian batting line failed to chase the Kenyan score of 209, once again giving away their wickets cheaply. The only 47 runs partnership was realized by low order batters Micheal Kalima (30) and 14 year Bobby singh Karwal (17) to reach a score of 108 all out in the 40th over. There is a big need for the team to wake and win some games in the event.
