Betty Timmer sharing views with Tanzanian Women Team Manager Mrs. Eunice Moyo

I have seen a lot of progress and development for women. It’s good to see all the teams are here. Players have great enthusiasm and leisure for the game and can also see the organization and dedication for the women’s cricket team is tremendous.

How do you find the level of women’s cricket as you have witnessed?

The game is better than what I had expected. They play a good cricket, according to the standards and I am impressed by the level of all the teams that have participated.

It’s great and above my expectations; they have shown a lot of potential in them, commitment and how they play, Good cricket.

What was your expectation before watching their games?

I really didn’t know what to expect; From what I have been hearing and what I have seen it is amazing. seeing is believing.

What made you impress more?

Most countries never had the background of cricket but their progress is remarkable and I am more impressed by Tanzanian girls, they have displayed a very good cricket and I am hoping in near future they should be in top ranks, if the spirit is maintained.

What made you to visit Tanzania?

I have been hearing a lot about Tanzania, so I thought to visit and see for myself, and I am pretty impressed by the level of cricket and the organization committee. I thought let me pay a visit to Africa since next year we will be merging with I.C.C and a lot of countries are going to benefit. Out of it.
